Sabah - Gunung Kinabalu


 Mount Kinabalu located in Sabah is the highest peak in Malaysia and the highest peak on the island of Borneo.

Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain between New Guinea and the Himalayas and has stunning views.

Mount Kinabalu is known as one of the easiest peaks to climb because it does not require special expertise to climb the mountain.

Mount Kinabalu is located in the eastern part of Malaysia and is known as Kinabalu National Park and is a World Heritage Site. Kinabalu is the highest peak

in the Borneo Crocker Range and is the 4th highest mountain in the Malay Archipelago after Papua Puncak Jaya, Puncak Trikora and Puncak Mandala located in Indonesia.

The best time to come to Mount Kinabalu is during the dry season from February to April because it can climb the mountain more easily

as well as fun.The distance of Kinabalu Park is about fifty miles east of Kota Kinabalu and can be reached in two hours.

If you are coming from Sandakan, the journey by bus to Mount Kinabalu will take six hours.

Most visitors take 3 days 2 nights to go up and down from Mount Kinabalu although it can be done within 2 days 1 night.

 The 8 -kilometer climb starts from Timpohon Gate (1800m). Then the next destination after 6 hours of climbing is at Laban Rata (3273m).

 Visitors can also stay at one of the guest houses in Laban Rata if visitors intend to see the sunrise at the top of Mount Kinabalu.

 The next day visitors will leave in the morning around 02:00 am and take 3 to 4 hours to reach the top then descend again.
